Springfield Botanical Center 2
Springfield in Bloom
Enjoy the beauty and restorative powers of nature at the Springfield Botanical Center. The park’s 114 acres are the perfect setting for a relaxing escape.
The center's oldest attraction, the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden, reopened in April. This 7.5 acre strolling garden contains pools of koi fish, a meditation garden, a tea house, and moon and zig zag bridges. Visitors can access the garden Thursday through Monday from 9 a.m. until sunset.
The center's popular Butterfly House opened for the season in May. Spend some quality time with beautiful flowers, caterpillars, butterflies, and the children who love to visit them. The house is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. until dusk.
