This route in Missouri’s Bootheel offers dramatic views, cotton, sand, swamps, peaches, other specialty crops, and fascinating Civil War history. Wildflowers abound during the growing season.
Crowley’s Ridge Parkway in Missouri is about 14 miles, but you can keep going on into Arkansas for another almost 200 miles. You can drive the whole thing in about 5 ½ hours, but really, you should plan a fun 3- or 4-day trip to explore Civil War sites, Native American villages, forests, natural areas, and more.
The byway begins near Malden, goes through Campbell, and then crosses into Arkansas.
