Do you like this?

Ozark Mountain Highroad

This seven-mile drive allows great views of the Ozark Mountains near Branson. An old mill and the foundation of the train depot at Mutton Hollow transport you back to the days of Harold Bell Wright, author of Shepherd of the Hills, the book that first prompted tourists to seek out this area of the Ozarks.

Drive Route 465, which begins five miles north of Branson off of U.S. Highway 65, and travel to Route 76, the famous strip, lined by theaters and museums.
