The first Catholic church was dedicated in St. Louis. It was a log structure that stood where the Old Cathedral stands today. You can visit the Old Cathedral at  209 Walnut Street Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Saturday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
