Old Bethel Baptist Church Jackson
July 19, 1806: Bethel Baptist Church was established near Jackson. It was Missouri’s first Baptist Church.
The original log church just outside Jackson collapsed and was deteriorating when the Baptist Association came to the rescue. The old log building has been restored and now stands under a pavilion roof at its original location.
