At the Spring Creek Tea Room, you can have your cake and eat it, too—if you arrive early. The cakes, pies, cheesecakes, and frozen desserts go fast.
Flavors such as chocolate-nut zucchini, orange dream, and earthquake are delectably intriguing. And because humans cannot survive on dessert alone, try the scrumptious selection of deli sandwiches, salads, and other lunch fare made from scratch.
Brenda May is the chef. She and her husband, Kerry, who manages the business, have combined an eatery and an antique store, so you can peruse the adjoined antique shop while you wait to be seated.
Brenda and Kerry usually arrive before 4:30 AM to prepare the food. She says she’s happy to stay in Ozark and keep their doors open until they can’t go anymore.
“It’s been a good business for me and my husband,” she says. “Where we spend most of our time together is right here.”
