The Way We Worked.
Nov. 19 through Dec. 17 at the Centre in Rolla. Come share the stories on where, how and why America workswith striking images from the National Archives, audio tours andartifacts with the Smithsonian Institution exhibition, The Way We
Worked. The exhibition will share the stories of how work
became a central element in American culture and the many
changes affecting the workforce and work environments over the
past 100 years.
In addition to the Smithsonian Exhibit, visitors will enjoy a glimpse into the
work history of the Rolla region through a collection of local historical
photos. The photo display shares work in the following areas: agriculture,
timber, railroads, mining, government, tourism, medicine, education, as
well as trade and commerce.
The Centre hours for this exhibit are Mon., We., and Fri. 9 am-noon and 4-7 pm and Sat.-Sun noon-4 pm. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

This exhbit will move to Poplar Bluff Jan. 3-31, Fulton Feb. 11-Mar. 10, Lawson Mar. 24-April 21, and Savannah May 5-June 2.
