The Polk County Fair is one of the largest free admission fairs left in the entire state. With three days of family friendly activities that include from a rooster crowing contest; poultry, sheep, dog, horse, goat, rabbit, swine, beef shows and auction; super farmer, pig scramble, kids games, bounce houses, homemade pie, and butter making contests.
Don't forget to visit our large array of various vendors from across southwest Missouri in the business section of the fairgrounds. The fair also includes the return of the antique tractor show, a kiddie tractor pull, a garden tractor/mini-rod pull, and a tractor pull on Saturday night.
Every event, including tractor pulls, are sponsored by the Polk County Fair Board Association, the Polk County Bolivar community, and select businesses and a free to the public. There will be plenty of good burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, and more to eat, including Kettlecorn from Cowboy Kettlecorn and food from the "Nach-O-Ordinary-Taco" Taco Truck.
