Opening Night of CAM's Spring 2012 Exhibitions

Join us this Friday for the Opening Night celebration of CAM's Spring 2012 Main Gallery exhibitions: the first solo American museum exhibition of the work of Cypriot artist Christodoulos Panayiotou and Figure Studies: Recent Representational Works on Paper, a thematic exhibition of recent works on paper that reconsider traditional approaches to figuration and representation. We also kick off a new season of the Front Room with the presentation of two 1957 films by American artist Robert Breer – Jamestown Baloos and A Man and His Dog Out for Air.
Throughout the evening, a free shuttle will run between the spring openings at the Kemper Art Museum at Washington University and CAM in Grand Center. There will also be events at the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts and Bruno David Gallery. Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 pm, and the last shuttle will depart each location at 9:00 pm.

Presented by J.P. Morgan. Free for all current members, no RSVP required. Complimentary drinks and valet. Join Chief Curator Dominic Molon and exhibiting artist Christodoulos Panayiotou for a preview of the new exhibition before it opens to the public. Curator remarks will be given at 6:30 pm.
