Volunteers meet at the Carl J Noren Missouri River Access & Boat Ramp in Jefferson City, Missouri. Volunteers receive a free boat ride to pre-scouted locations up and down the Missouri River to help clean-up trash. A free appreciation lunch will be served to all volunteers around noon. Volunteers should come prepared to be outside for several hours. Long pants, sturdy shoes (no open-toed shoes allowed), layers for changing weather, bug spray, sunscreen, snacks, and a hat are recommended. Land sites will be available for those who prefer it. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, reusable water bottle and drinking water, gloves, trash bags, use of tools, and free lunch.
