The Brink ARTCThe Brink by Fraser Leonard
Achieving Recovery Through Creativity or A.R.T.C. (pronounced artsy) program at Preferred Family Healthcare that is a substance abuse recovery program that helps adolescents cope with difficult emotions by encouraging expression through the arts. When the participants are validated through art, they experience more confidence and self-worth.
A.R.T.C. utilizes many different art mediums including visual arts, music, and creative writing. With a focus on creativity, it only makes sense the program's benefit will be held at an art gallery.
The Fraser Leonard Gallery will not only be hosting the event that features appetizers, beer, and wine, but will also be donating fifty percent of all its contemporary art sales to the A.R.T.C. program. Guitarist Chris Griffith will be performing instrumental music inspired by celtic, folk, and jazz, as well.
