The sixteenth annual Bois D' Arc Primitive Skills Camp teaches campers how make useful objects and cook without modern technology.
Demonstrations and workshops will be offered all day every day of the event. They include the following: fire building, bow making, basketry, pottery, knife sharpening, rivercane blowguns, hide tanning, tracking and awareness, primitive fishing, moccasins, flutes, bowstrings, and much more.
Overnight camping and vendor knapper setup: five dollars per night. A limited number of electric sites are available and are given on a first-come basis: fifteen dollars per night.
If you arrive before Wednesday, leave camping fee in the deposit box, Wednesday and after, please pay at the Registration Booth. Food Concession provided by the Dade County Historical Society.
Admission to the Workshop Area: $60 per day or $150 for three days.
