31st Candlelight Christmas Walk
Friday December 6th, 2013 & Friday December 13th, 2013 from 5 to 10 p.m.
Picture yourself inside a Norman Rockwell Christmas painting! That's exactly how you'll feel as a corridor of over 1500 glowing luminaries welcomes you to the sights, sounds and smells of ‘Christmas yesteryear' in charming Augusta, Missouri. The town has pulled out all the stops and is ready to welcome visitors from near and far to create holiday memories to cherish.
"If you are looking to experience the spirit of an old-fashioned ‘Norman Rockwell-feeling' Christmas you'll find it this season in historic Augusta, Missouri. Settle under a blanket and enjoy a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride through the crisp winter air, then warm yourself ‘round the bonfire at the old town square while savoring freshly-roasted chestnuts. Afterwards, enjoy Christmas Caroling in the church. There will be a town scavenger hunt with prizes and children's activities at the Library. Are you a serious shopper?
