Howard Neighborhood National Register District Walking Tour
The Lee’s Summit Historic Preservation Commission and the Lee’s Summit Historical Society cordially invite you to “Celebrate Our Historic Neighborhoods” on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 10AM until 2PM with the first walking tour of the historic Howard Neighborhood which is located south of the downtown. The tour will begin at the corner of 5th and S.E. Douglas Streets.
Experience the first in a series of walking tours of historic neighborhoods. Hear the stories of the homes and their early residents from Lee’s Summit North High School Debate Students.

Street parking for this event is on 5th, 6th and 7th Streets. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. The tour includes a booklet, Howard Neighborhood National Register District Walking Tour, prepared by the Lee’s Summit Historic Preservation Commission.
Liberty Heritage Festival
