"Easy" by Sheryl Crow
Sheryl Crow's Gone Country
Sheryl Crow's sunkissed music was the soundtrack to the '90s. She was a multi-platinum superstar that dated celebrities and was a hot topic in celebrity news for almost a decade, so it's no surprise people most commonly associate her with Los Angeles. A few years ago, however, she moved from her Hollywood home to Nashville, Tennessee, dropping the top-forty sound for a genre more true to her hometown of Kennett.
On September 10th, she's releasing her first country album, Feels Like Home. Now, she's joining the ranks of her fellow Kennett-native David Nail in being some of Nashville's country stars. Her new single "Easy" may have already proven she's cut out for country.
Another Country Kid From Kennet
Sheryl Crow isn't the only big name to come from Kennett. David Nail came onto the music scene in 2009 with his debut album I'm About to Come Alive. The album was not only a fan favorite, but it also spawned a Grammy nominated song.
David Nail didn't forget about his Show-Me roots when he released the acclaimed album, though. The last song on the his debut was simply titled "Missouri." Now he has released his follow-up and is about to release his third full-length album, David Nail still keeps Missouri pride in his heart. His new single, "Whatever She's Got," shows he's still got his country talent, too.
New Franklin Veteran
From the small town of New Franklin, a stone's throw away from our offices in Booneville, Sara Evans has been a country sensation since the late 1990s. She's had hit after hit and been the focus of celebrity news. She is also a family-oriented woman with a good sense of humor.
Her new single comes out in September, and the excitement is palpable.
