In a new book Prepare for Leadership: from Farm Boy to Times Square, Missouri resident Nile D. Ramsbottom shares the leadership skills that took him from the Iowa farm of his childhood to Times Square when the company he led went public on the NASDAQ stock market. From bucking horses to getting bucked off the rails of top management at a Fortune 500 company due to a company takeover to become unemployed at age 55, Ramsbottom shares the lessons he learned along the way. Within ten years of losing his job, he helped build the biodiesel industry and a renewable energy company that surpassed his former employer in annual earnings and grew from one million gallons to more than 250 million gallons.
However, the book is more than a memoir. He also ties in the business principles and philosophies that allowed him to advance and succeed, which can offer excellent guidance for employees and entrepreneurs at any stage of their own career.
The book is published by Missouri Life Media and more information is available at MissouriLife.com/Ramsbottom.
