Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup milk
1/4 cup vanilla*
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
In a large bowl, sift together all dry ingredients. Make a well in the center of the dry mix, pour in milk, vanilla*, egg, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
Use approximately 1/4 cp for each pancake. Pour on lightly oiled, hot, frying pan, and brown on both sides. Serve hot.
Serves 4.
*Vanilla can be adjusted to taste. If adjusted, also adjust milk for consistency.
