1/2 pound unsalted butter
1 yellow onion, chopped
8 ounces Guinness Stout
4 ounces Jameson Irish Whiskey
2 medium potatoes, chopped
1 rutabaga, chopped
2 ounces ground coriander
2 ounces ground marjoram
water
1 pound lamb stew meat, diced
2 cups beef stock
1/2 pound fresh green beans, clipped and cleaned
1/4 pound mushrooms, halved

Directions:
In a large stockpot, melt the butter, and add the onion. Saute until translucent, then add Guinness Stout and Jameson Irish Whiskey. Reduce to half, and add potatoes, rutabagas, and spices. Cover with water, and simmer for 20 minutes. Add lamb, cover with beef stock and simmer for 15 minutes. Add green beans and mushrooms, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4 to 6.
