About This Blog

Greg Wood is publisher and co-owner of the magazine, along with his wife, Danita Allen Wood. Greg travels the state as he spends time with our sponsors, without whom the magazine would not be possible. He is a huge fan of Mark Twain and has an uncanny ability to make humorous pointed observations himself. He will share his travels around the state, insider information from our sponsors, and other commentary on Missouri today.

Greg has written for Succesful Farming, Farm Journal, Country America, and Midwest Living, among other magazines, and is a published book author, Your New Life in the Country, published by Stackpole Publishing, Harrisburg, PA.

He and Danita have three children. Greg built their home near Boonville, trains horses, plays lead guitar and sings in a band, and likes hunting for Indian artifacts on their farm.
