The Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.
I’ve always loved fairs. It was a big treat when I was a kid to go to the State Fair in Sedalia. This year, you can find Missouri Life at both the Ozark Empire Fair (now until August 9), in Springfield, in the E-Plex and the State Fair in Sedalia, (Aug. 13-23) in the Art Building. We are giving away artwork from Missouri artists at both fairs, so stop by the booth, say hello, and sign up to win some great artwork.

Danita Allen Wood is editor-in-chief and co-owner of the magazine, along with her husband, Greg Wood. They bought and revived the magazine in 1999. Since then, it has won multiple awards from the International Regional Magazine Association, including Magazine of the Year in 2008.
